We loved the decor, old TV shows, menu names and food! Went on a busy Friday morning with only one server but still had great service. They let ya know before seating and the owner was serving too. Kitchen was efficient!
Oh yes! This is a winner! For the uninitiated a cat-head biscuit is traditionally a biscuit so big it’s the size of a cats head. These ARE! But it’s not just huge-it’s PERFECT! Fluffy, dense, moist, crispy edges of buttery goodness. The Atomic biscuit is a succulent deep fried chicken breast, a slice of country ham, cheese, gourmet onion bacon jam and smoky sagey sausage gravy. I asked for my biscuit on the side so I could just enjoy all the parts. My dining partner got a brisket hash bowl so we SHARED my massive biscuit and I feel that they might love me more for it. (Just sayin’) The atmosphere is on point! I loved everything about this place. I love the Larry Moe and Curly videos and I love Lucy posters. The staff was SO sweet and took so much pride in their food prep, and their fast delivery. I’m already craving that biscuit. Can’t wait to make this a regular stop. Canton is considered one of the most charming small towns in The United States. After visiting the last few weeks I can see why. So much to do there! Shopping, dining and enjoying the charm. Check out the Etowah Mill. It’ll take weeks to see it all.
Great local place for breakfast, brunch, and now dinner on certain nights! Today was our first time visiting. We had seen lots of mixed reviews across social media when this place first opened and after giving them time to work out all their new restaurant opening kinks, we can say this place is worth trying! Most items on the menu are house made and you won’t find this at any breakfast chain restaurant. We started with the mini biscuit basket where we got to try the house made gravy, honey butter, bacon jam butter, and grape jam - all were great! For entrees we got the atomic biscuit and the great balls of fire biscuit - both HUGE portions and tasted great. Biscuits were hot, fresh, golden, and perfectly fluffy inside. Cheese grits and tots for sides are also good. Friendly and attentive service - Katie was awesome! We will definitely be back to try some other menu items soon and highly recommend eating here and supporting a local business!
We ordered breakfast here: steak and eggs. Loved the eggs, and the steak was okay, but it was way too peppery. Unless pepper is all you want to taste, ask for less pepper. Also, portions are more than adequate. This meal comes with tater tots and a biscuit as big as a saucer!
Thanks to fellow diner Will Camarillo for recommending the Cosmic Hash! It as well as the Foghorn Leghorn chicken salad and coleslaw were awesome. Our server, Katie, was delightful.
Incredibly great vibe, good food, and the service was nice, but I do wish they had more servers on the floor. The restaurant was almost completely full, and I only saw 2 servers rushing around to appease all the customers, so that's really bad planning on management. Both girls that I saw were really nice and professional.
I started my day off with the G force. Now, this is a warning to anybody willing to try this: It's not for the faint of heart. The quality of the liquor was absolutely beautiful and went down swimmingly with the Orange juice chaser. But it will knock you on your butt if you are not a hard liquor drinker.
The coffee was okay. French press coffee was really strong.
The food was good, but the biscuits were dry. This is the South, all of our grandmothers make biscuits, and every other restaurant has them, so there is a higher expectation.
The theme is super cute, and we really enjoyed our time.
Excellent food and service! The crawfish and grits were good! The Great Balls of Fire chicken biscuit and smash browns were great too! We will definitely go back to try the chicken & waffles and French toast!
Cute place but they give really small portions for the price. Like 1.5 slices of really thin bacon? Really? Eggs were done perfect so that was a plus. Just not sure we'd come back again given so many other better options. Not wowed.
